Follow the Ducks with Honey Brake’s Duck Tracker

Ever wonder about a duck’s journey? From their breeding grounds in Canada down along the various flyways to southern wintering areas, they face hunters and numerous other challenges along the way before making the return trip each spring. Earlier this year, Honey Brake Lodge partnered with eight companies and an organization, to fund the safe, professional trap, tagging and release of 12 ducks in Louisiana. Each one was outfitted with a small transmitter so sportsman and birding enthusiasts alike can follow Honey Brake’s Duck Tracker on a regular basis to see where each duck is as it begins its return trip up the Mississippi Flyway for its northern breeding grounds this spring.
The 12 ducks are sponsored by Banded, Benelli, the Confluence Group, Gunner Kennels, Honey Brake Lodge, Mojo Outdoors, Presley’s and Realtree with Federal Premium and 4-H both sponsoring two ducks each. Check back often to track their progress.
